Comments:

The Staff is excellent.
"Make it easier to get help upstairs; the downstairs people are to busy".

General feelings or consensus:

Videos 1 week

"Tell people no talking" and "Muzzle the yackers!" (No food or drink!}

What are your ideal library hours:

"As many as possible!"
Later hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Evenings until 10.
11-5, seven days a week.
9am - 9pm
Monday through Saturday. 9-2.
(Several people would be willing to give up evening hours if there were more weekend hours.)

Facilities Improvements:

Raise heat. Lower heat.
Coffee/social area, with magazines.
"Nooks" - chairs here and there.
Private alcoves.
More obvious labels on the shelves.
Better lighting in the aisles of the stacks.
More reading tables.
Need a reading room.
Separate reading area - more quite space.
Quiet space.
More natural light; non-fluorescent lighting, windows, more light, sofas, couches, barca-lounges, Italian leather chairs, cushy chairs.
Maps/signage for the library.
More restrooms, restrooms.
More computers, better keyboards, reservations more than one day in advance.
Don't use reference books-use computers.
Not enough shelf-space; more room for the collection.
Enough shelf space for books and videos.
Bottom shelf hard to read.
Copy machine on all floors.
Separate specialized videos and shelve with specialty books -(art videos with art books).
